2025 Opening Day Parade

The 2025 Opening Day Parade will be held the morning of Saturday, April 26.

• Parade starts at Holy Cross School.

• Staging begins at 7am - players need to check-in with their Coach no later than 7:50am.

• The parade will leave promptly at 8am with a police escort.

• The route is shown on the map to the right.

• The parade will pass through Highland Cemetery to pay respects to the final resting places of Chet Waggoner and Molly Ridenour.

• After arriving at the park, teams will form up on the Majors baseball field (Field 5).

• Opening Ceremonies begin between 8:45am and 9:00am.

Parade Information: Parade will start at Holy Cross east on Vassar to Diamond to Honorary Ray Snyder Ave Between Angela and Elwood)  people welcomed to gather at Sunco to cheer parade on, travels down portage to roundabout to Highland Cemetery enters and passes by Mr Waggoner and Molly Ridenour graves. Exits Cemetery travels north to Boland turning east to Riverside then onto park
